Shipping Policy

Beyond Vinyl carefully packs and dispatches orders from our store at The John Marley Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne.

UK delivery

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 as our standard delivery service for UK orders.

Our standard UK shipping rates are:

Orders up to 2kg — £4.99
Orders over 2kg up to 10kg — £8.99

Some unusually large or bulky products may have a different shipping charge. Where this applies, the appropriate shipping option and price will be shown at checkout before payment.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation and tracking information where available.

Royal Mail delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch in-stock orders as quickly as possible, normally within 1–2 working days.

Orders placed at weekends or on public holidays will normally be processed from the next working day.

During particularly busy periods, major release days or events, dispatch may occasionally take a little longer.

Packaging

Vinyl records and other products are carefully packed using suitable protective packaging for their format and size.

Larger box sets, books, merchandise and other unusually sized products may require larger packaging and may therefore attract a different shipping charge.

Pre-orders

Release dates for pre-order products are based on information supplied by record labels, distributors and suppliers and can occasionally change.

Pre-orders will be dispatched once the relevant stock has arrived with us and is available for fulfilment.

If an order contains both in-stock products and pre-order products, the dispatch arrangements may depend on the products included in the order. Unless otherwise arranged, an order containing a pre-order item may be held until all items are available for dispatch.

If you would like an in-stock item immediately rather than waiting for a pre-order item, we recommend placing it as a separate order.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready for collection before travelling to the store.

You may be asked to provide your order confirmation or other reasonable proof of purchase when collecting your order.

Delayed or missing deliveries

Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery times are estimates and occasional delays can occur after an order has left us.

If your order appears to be significantly delayed or tracking indicates a problem, please contact us at info@beyondvinyl.co.uk with your order number and we will help investigate.

Incorrect delivery addresses

Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.

If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as quickly as possible at info@beyondvinyl.co.uk. We will try to amend the address if the order has not yet been dispatched.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered the dispatch process.

Additional postage costs may apply if an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete delivery address was supplied.

Damaged parcels or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible at info@beyondvinyl.co.uk, quoting your order number and including photographs of the item and packaging where appropriate.

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

International delivery

International delivery is only available to destinations shown as available at checkout.

Where international shipping is available, the available service and delivery charge will be shown at checkout.

Customers outside the United Kingdom may be responsible for local import duties, taxes, customs charges or handling fees where applicable. These charges are determined by the authorities in the destination country and are not normally included in Beyond Vinyl's shipping charge unless expressly stated otherwise.

International delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier and customs processing.
