A drink, good company and a record worth spending an evening with. Join David at Beyond Vinyl for the first Beyond Listening Sessions, our new monthly music social.
We’re starting with Blur’s self-titled 1997 album—a record tied to David’s time working at HMV and seeing the band in Newcastle.
“I saw Blur at the Mayfair in Newcastle in January 1997, just before their self-titled album came out. From the moment they walked on stage, the place was electric. I couldn’t tell you the first or last song they played, but I can still remember the feeling of that night nearly 30 years later.” — David
