This ultra limited White Label Vinyl edition has been produced in extremely small numbers and is expected to become one of the most sought-after variants of the album.
Released via Transgressive Records on 22nd May 2026, Blue Morpho sees O’Brien stepping further into expansive psych-folk, ambient textures, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic songwriting. Produced by Paul Epworth and recorded between Wales and London, the album captures themes of healing, transformation and reflection inspired by nature and personal recovery.
Named after the iridescent Blue Morpho butterfly first encountered by O’Brien while living in Brazil, the album blends radiant guitar work, trip-hop influences, jazz-inspired arrangements and atmospheric soundscapes into a deeply personal listening experience. Contributors include Philip Selway, Shabaka Hutchings, Dave Okumu and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
This exclusive White Label pressing also includes a limited selection of bonus items while stocks last:
