We’re delighted to welcome Holy Coves to Beyond Vinyl, Newcastle upon Tyne, for an intimate live acoustic performance and signing celebrating the release of their brand new studio album Hiraeth.
The Welsh Awen rock band, led by singer-songwriter Scott Marsden, have built a passionate following through their cinematic songwriting, soaring melodies and atmospheric blend of indie, alternative and psychedelic rock. Their music draws inspiration from the landscapes and mythology of North Wales, creating a sound that is both expansive and deeply personal.
Following a run of special record store appearances across the UK, Holy Coves arrive at Beyond Vinyl for what promises to be a very special evening.

Hiraeth is Holy Coves’ eagerly anticipated fourth studio album and their most ambitious release to date. Released via the band’s own Snowdonia Records, the album continues their journey through rich, atmospheric songwriting inspired by landscape, identity and belonging. The Welsh word “Hiraeth” describes a deep longing for home, place or a time that cannot be returned to—a theme that runs throughout the record.
